Now you can download free psp games by taking some very easy steps. The Sony PSP has become one of the hottest handheld gaming systems in the world.

If you are used to buying psp games on the tiny discs from stores then you are up for some great news because you will no longer have to do that.

If you want to download free psp games you will first need a few things. I am going to try to make this as easy as possible for you.

You Sony PSP usually comes with some software on it called Firmware. What you will need to do is make sure your PSP has Firmware 1.5 or below. You will find out how to do this at the psp download site along with detailed instructions.

Second, you will need a memory stick so you can save all of your games you are about to download. These days the memory sticks are not as expensive as they used to be so go ahead and check out a 2 or 3 gb memory stick.

Now you are ready to download free psp games. All you need to do is connect your PSP to your computer with a USB cord. Then make sure the path name is set to PSP>GAME, just like that. Finally, unplug your PSP and scroll down to select the memory stick option and all the games will appear and you can start playing!
